May 1st Weekend
Nicole and I had a wonderful Friday. After work, we went to Bowen Island. After a pleasant ferry ride in the warm sun, we went for a peaceful walk. The setting sun turned the landscapes golden. The shafts of light pearcing through the trees was wonderful.
After our healthy walk it was time to Pub crawl Bowen-Style! Yes, we went to BOTH pubs on Bowen!
The first one, who’s name I can’t remember, was emtpy, and we left after having a watery beer and a chat with a nice gentleman and his friendly dog who sat next to me after Nicole suggested it out of fun. We think the waitress was high. She was strange, but friendly…
Then we went to Doc Morton’s for our second session, had real beer and real food with real people… and no one was high…. We sat and talked and enjoyed each others company. The ferry ride back was pleasant. We even enjoyed the ride back home.
