What a Wonderful Weekend
Oh what a wonderful weekend we had!!!
On Friday, Nicole and I went out for a wonderful dinner at the Key. Our friends Noelle and Ben gave us a gift certificate, and we used it for the most wonderful romantic dinner for the two of us. It was perfect! They even serve Soya Whipped Butter with the fresh bread – it was amazing! We had appies, drinks, and a couple excellent entres… Great night.

Saturday we decided we were going to go for a bicycle ride. I didn’t know how long I could last, really not having done any sort of bicycle riding for years… I lasted all the way to St. Paul’s, which was wonderful. I was very grumpy at first and poor Nicole had to put up with my uglyness. It’s quite a nice ride…. So much easier of a commute than the other commutes we’ve had. Even having not ridden for years, I was able to complete it – though not without some stiffness 
We had lunch at Kadoya (newly renovated, and very pleasant – a little less cramped feeling – same awful service, same great food I lost my grumpyness over lunch, and after many appologies, Nicole and I went for a wonderful walk in English Bay.
We really enjoyed ourselves… It was great to ride a bicycle again. The weather was wonderful. After a nice barefoot walk on the seawall, we parked ourselves on the beach and enjoyed the world go by and the warm sun… So relaxing.
I was totally exhausted after we got back. I took a short nap, and then we went out for a Movie (I Love you Man – quite funny!).
Then on Sunday, we went for a motorcycle ride to West Van. More on our motorcycle blog!
