Internet to be installed today. Shaw, don’t let us down!
Today is the big day where our Internet should be reconnected. We hope that shaw will not let us down! Compaired to Telus so far the experience has been more pleasant. The customer service has been better, though the wait times on the phone were very long at times (once I waited 46 minutes).
I’m willing to wait, however, if the customer service is good on the other end.
While Telus only offers a one-day window for installation (which they are still unable to show up for reliably), Shaw offers a two-hour window. A two-hour windor is so much more reasonable. Once could even arrange for a long lunch in order to have service installed.
The price of the service itself is not higher in the end than we paid with Telus, and the connection speed looks faster on paper. We’ll see.
