Not only is he restoring her as new, he has photographs of the original owner/builder, and photographs of her being built and finally her launch on May 9th, 1914.

To have these photographs is truly amazing. I am beside myself with excitement to see these photos and to know that I have been part of the history of this amazing boat.

As I look for work in Australia, I’ve moved my photography site to a new domain, and with a new design. BarefootPhotographer.info is now the new home of my personal photography.

Algauthier.com is now being redesigned as a site dedicated to helping me find work. That should be up soon!

Now Nicole and I are sitting and enjoying Love Actually after having eaten pork dumplings and spring roles. I have several packages of mystery food that we’ll enjoy later. It’s great!

Now back to working on a web site that is far over due for a friend…

I’ve been adding information as it becomes available, and will plan to add even more as time goes on.  The more we see the more I will add to the site.

Most importantly however, information for flights, visa information, and other important details have already been addeed.  Also, we have an online booking calendar where you can “reserve” our guest room for your stay.  All the details are on the site.

Happy Holidays to you if you celebrate at this time of year! Christmas doesn’t mean much to me recently, but it does bring up feelings of appreciation and love for the wonderful people around me. As always we should never take any day for granted, nor any person for granted. Live each day as if it were precious, because it is!

This really great service is free for up to 2 GB.  It’s expandable up to 100 GB for incremental monthly fees for those who need more space.

It’s a service that gives you super easy online storage.  You can use it to send large files to friends or family, or as a backup of your files.  You can even use it to sync between two or more computers.  This isn’t a unique service, but it is the simplest and most elegant solution I’ve seen.  Once installed, a folder on your computer represents the files that will be synced on the Dropbox service.  Anything you put into the folder is automatically synced.  That’s it!

And it works with PC and Mac.

So why I am writing about it?  Well frankly they are running a promotion that if someone signs up for the service using a special link below, I get more space on my dropbox account… Since I really do love the service, I thought it was worth sending out the word.

This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:

- Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPhone to not wake from sleep
- Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart
- Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video streaming

The update is compatible with all iPhone models and weighs in at approximately 240 MB. Apple introduced iPhone OS 3.1 almost exactly one month ago, bringing a number of new features including Genius recommendation for applications, Genius Mixes for music and purchasing of pre-cut ringtones.

A corresponding update is also available for the iPod touch.

Also, the iPhone OS 3.1.2 update for iPhone in U.S. is accompanied by an update to AT&T’s carrier settings file, which brings the settings to version 5.6.
